Mount Mutombo at United Nations

Mount Mutombo was officially invited to screen at the United Nations Headquarters in New York as part of a high-level convening honoring the humanitarian legacy of Dikembe Mutombo.

The screening and dialogue took place at a defining global moment, coinciding with the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s seat on the United Nations Security Council and the Vice Presidency of the General Assembly.

Held within the ECOSOC Chamber — a space dedicated to diplomacy, dignity, and international cooperation — the event brought together ambassadors, dignitaries, and global leaders in reflection of a life devoted to service.
